Cora Lamers

Cora received her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta. Before starting here at SpeechEase, she worked in elementary schools in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Cora loves working as part of a team and wants to make sure everyone is feeling supported - the child, their family, school staff, other professionals, etc. She uses child-led, play-based approaches in her sessions with a focus on multi-modal communication and self-advocacy. Cora has lots of experience working with Autistic children and their families.

 

Cora regularly engages in continued education with a focus on neurodiversity-affirming care, AAC (alternative / augmentative communication), and Autistic lived experiences. She is SAC certified with a professional interest in leadership. She recently received an accredited certification in gender-affirming voice and communication coaching
