The following organizations provide potential sources of funding for private SLP services.

Variety Children's Charity

Variety BC will be accepting grant applications for the equipment and services of greatest need to our families (with an annual household income of up to $65,000), including:

  • Specialized Therapies (e.g. Speech & language, occupational, physical, counseling)

  • Adaptive Equipment (e.g. Power and manual wheel chairs, adaptive trikes, hearing aids, standing walkers)

  • Custom Orthotics

  • Tutoring Bursaries for Learning Disabilities

  • Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM)

CKNW
Kids' Fund

CKNW Kids' Fund accepts grant applications from both individual families and organizations in BC that are focused on children’s programs and special projects.

School-Aged Extended Therapies Benefit

The School-Aged Therapy (SAT) program is a foundational program that provides occupational therapy (OT), speech-language pathology (SLP) and physiotherapy (PT) services to school-aged children.

Autism Funding Program

Funding assists with the cost of getting support. Autism funding helps pay for eligible services or supports that promote skill development for children living with autism.
