Ina Lin

About Me

Ina obtained her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. Since then, she has continued to work with both paediatric and adult clients through in-person sessions and via teletherapy. Ina enjoys working with a diversity of clients, targetting areas of intervention including voice therapy, speech sound disorders, early language development, and the use of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems for complex communicators. Ina is RASP certified and has additional training in TalkTools.

Ina is an advocate for evidence-based practices, and continues to engage in continuing education courses to better support her clients in achieving their goals of better health, communication, and quality of life. Ina also supports the SpeechEase team through mentorship and training of the SLP assistants. 

Ina believes that everyone has the right to communicate, and she is dedicated to providing client-centred services by collaboratively creating functional and personal goals that support and enhance clients' current abilities. For her, this means identifying strategies that can be incorporated by the clients' team (and family) and providing education/coaching for the family.
